A Journey of Healing, Preaching and Renewal

The IHS Ministries began in 2018, born from a deep inspiration of the Lord placed in the heart of Br. Jesu Maharaja, OFM. Soon, four more friars from the Province of St. Thomas the Apostle joined him in responding to this call—committing themselves to a ministry of preaching, healing, and deliverance.

In 2019, during the Provincial Chapter, this ministry was officially approved and recognized as a mission of the Province.

Since its inception, IHS Ministries has served thousands of faithful across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, conducting retreats, prayer services, seminars, and conventions. We also organize annual retreats in Tamil and English in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, providing spiritual renewal and deeper encounters with Christ for people of all ages.

Rooted in the Lord’s mandate — “Proclaim the Good News… cast out demons… heal the sick” (Mk 16:15–18) — our ministry reaches out to:

What We Do

Conduct parish retreats at the invitation of parish priests
Organize residential retreats at Poondi and Vadipatti retreat centres
Offer regular monthly services at St. Sebastian’s Church, Madhavaram
Lead prayer services for various groups and communities
Conduct seminars and retreats in schools and colleges
Make ourselves available for confessions, counselling, and spiritual guidance
Spread the Word of God through our YouTube channel and WhatsApp outreach

Our long-term vision is to establish a dedicated retreat centre where people can come, stay, and experience days of prayer, healing, deliverance, and spiritual restoration. We hope to continue this mission more effectively and serve the People of God with even greater dedication.
