Note:

The following are the objectives of JPIC Secretariat:

To animate the integration of the JPIC program of the province in the life, ministry and formation of the friars and the candidates of the order;

To plan, organize systematize the JPIC component in the provincial plan and to attend meetings in the province that affects and/or concerns the JPIC dimension;

To initiate and/or facilitate communications and meeting of the fraternities in the province;

To represent the province before other organizations, institutions and alliances, such as Justice and Peace of the Franciscan Conferences of Asia and Oceania.

To facilitate, animate and deepen the advocacy, campaign and education of human rights, JPIC issues and struggles;

To conduct the over-all evaluation, assessment and summing up of the program at the end of the triennium.

To create consciousness of the urgent JPIC issues in the country, in the province and among the Formators and the students in Formation and enable all the brothers to respond to these issues according to the Gospel values;

To work towards the formation of JPIC cells in the province and to facilitate a sense of solidarity among the brothers who are involved in JPIC;

To network with other movements and NGOs at the national and international levels (inclusive of other religions).
