The Secretariat of Missionary Evangelization is an animating body of the Province with reference to matters related to pastoral, educational and Ashram ministries of the Province. This Secretariat will educate and promote the Brothers in the areas of inculturation, inter-religious dialogue, evangelization. It will create awareness of mission among the Brothers and communicate to them about the missionary projects and activities of the Order at the national and international levels.
To facilitate contact with the “Mission” – both within and outside the country;
To disseminate information regarding missionary projects and activities in the Province;
To Celebrate Franciscan Mission Sunday
To organize annual programmes such as FRAYME (Franciscan Youth Meet)
To collaborate with other Secretariats and Councils
To identify and train personnel for missions;
To convene meetings of friars ministering in the Parishes/NGOs/Educational Institutions/Formators – at least once a year – in view of evaluating and updating the methodology of missionary evangelization.
